BOTEL is a personal protection tool that lets you send alerts to selected contacts and groups using different activation methods.
🚨 THREE WAYS TO ACTIVATE AN ALERT
✅ From the app: use the on-screen emergency button.
✅ By voice: configure keywords or phrases to activate the alert without touching your phone.
✅ With a Bluetooth button: pair a compatible device to activate an alert even when the screen is off or while you are using another app.
📍 INFORMATION TO HELP OTHERS LOCATE YOU
Each alert can include your name, phone number, date, time, and the location information available on your device.
When BOTEL obtains a sufficiently accurate current location, it generates a map that can track location updates for 15 minutes. If a GPS signal is unavailable, BOTEL may use an approximate location obtained through mobile networks or Wi-Fi, or report the last known location. BOTEL indicates the type of location obtained and its estimated accuracy when this information is provided by the phone.
👥 CHOOSE WHO RECEIVES YOUR ALERTS
Select individual contacts or groups as recipients. BOTEL uses Telegram to deliver alerts. Your recipients do not need to install BOTEL, but they must have Telegram.
You can also choose different recipients to let them know that you have reached your destination and share your location with them.
🔒 CONTROL AND PROTECTION
✅ Protect access to your recipient list using the security method configured on your phone.
✅ Keep BOTEL active in the background to use voice activation or the Bluetooth button.
✅ Receive a notification reminding you to reactivate protection after restarting the device.
✅ Use the app in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, or Portuguese.
BOTEL requires an Internet connection, location permissions, and a properly configured Telegram account. Voice and Bluetooth features depend on device compatibility and configuration.
BOTEL does not replace contacting the police, fire department, ambulance services, 911, or other public emergency services. Whenever possible, request assistance directly from the appropriate authorities.
