Amazing So much better than the Phillips app even their new one. I downloaded this for my Galaxy S5 when I still had it and now on my iPhone and its practically flawless. It seems to me though that the music function doesn't work as well on the iPhone because the mic just isn't picking up the sound well but maybe its my imagination. Don't know if there is a way to change the mic sensitivity for the iPhone. Any1 kno y the free (crappy) android tablet I got won't work with this App or Phillips?
Great app for lamp/scene managment Perfect for when complete control is required over a large amount of lights/scenes. Offers detailed management in a clean and consice (albeit slightly outdated) interface. Also greatly appreciate the backup functionality and the import/export scenes from/to bridge option. Only thing missing is the ability to programme Hue Tap switches (for which at the moment the Philips v1 app is required).
pretty much perfect now! I prefer this over the official Hue app, and the fact that the developer constantly keeps the app updated if any bugs appear is a great sign! =) Ben, the developer, answered my queries within a day and solved my issue! definitely worth spending money for this app! 😄😄
I was sceptical at first. I was sceptical at first. Thinking it was unnecessary money if it does the same thing as the original app. But its really much better. The step by step instruction to connect from out of home is very important cos otherwise every time have to connect to WiFi just to switch off the lights
Simple update I see you leave comments Ben...and you might see this and I love the app and payed for everything but the color flow in lava mode could use a touch up because it tends to go white when switching colors where the free app "onswitch" charges nothing and the color flow is way smoother meaning the transaction and no white color when switching....please fix :) hope you see this message!!! Thanks
Better than the official app Generally love the app. Easier to use than the Philips app. Generally works well. Recently had the bulbs in most of my groups overwritten while playing with the individual bulb setting. My group specific widgets all broke too. I'm running Android N, however and it's not clear if that played into it. Will continue to use the app, and despite the glitches here and there, still love it. I am a little disappointed in the additional cost for the music stuff but though.
