About this app

Bend Logic is a conduit bending calculator and electrical reference app built for working electricians — apprentices learning the math, journeymen running pipe in the field, and foremen who need every bend to land right the first time.
Punch in your numbers in tape-measure fractions. Get bend marks, travel, shrink, and a clean visual layout in seconds. No decimal conversions. No paper. No re-bending pipe because the offset came up short.

WHAT YOU CAN CALCULATE

Simple offsets — travel, shrink, and bend marks for any angle
Rolling offsets — true offset, travel, and roll for offset-and-roll runs
3-point and 4-point saddles — full mark layouts with field-reference and center-reference modes
Parallel offsets and parallel kicks — keep parallel runs spaced correctly through obstacles
Matching-center offsets and matching-center kicks — line up bends across a rack
Segmented 90s — spacing, degrees per shot, and developed length
Compound 90s around squares, rectangles, and circles — for wrapping obstacles cleanly
Field Matcher — reverse-solve the angle of a bend you’ve already made from its rise and travel, and find the closest standard angle

BUILT FOR REAL BENDING, NOT JUST MATH

Bender profiles for Milwaukee, Klein, and IDEAL — uses each manufacturer’s published deduct and take-up values where available, instead of one generic number
Tradesman Keyboard — a custom fraction keypad so you enter measurements the way they read on your tape
CAD-style bend visuals — every result shows a labeled layout so you know exactly where the arrow, star, and tape marks go
Imperial and metric units
Field Mode — high-contrast, glove-friendly UI for jobsite readability

ELECTRICAL REFERENCE TOOLS

Box fill calculator — NEC 314.16-style box volume sizing for common conductors and devices
Conduit fill — built-in fill data for layout planning
Voltage drop — quick estimates using standard formulas
Ampacity reference — NEC 310.16 copper ampacities
NEC reference lookups in one place

SAVE AND REUSE YOUR WORK

Rack Log — save important calculations with labels, tape-ready fractional marks, and a completed flag so you can track what’s been physically run
PDF export for Box Fill and Voltage Drop — clean reports for documentation and submittals

WHO IT’S FOR

Apprentices learning conduit math and bend layout
Journeymen who want faster, more accurate field calculations
Foremen and leads who need repeatable, reviewable layouts
Anyone running EMT, rigid, IMC, or PVC who wants the math handled right

WHY ELECTRICIANS USE BEND LOGIC

Cut down on wasted pipe and re-bends
Stop converting decimals to 16ths in your head
Get visual confirmation before you put a stick on the bender
Keep your bend math, rack layouts, and code references in one app
Work the way the trade actually works

IMPORTANT
Bend Logic provides calculations and layout assistance for field use. Always verify all measurements, follow the NEC edition enforced by your AHJ, manufacturer instructions, jobsite standards, and safe work practices. You are responsible for confirming bend results before performing work.
