I purchased (what I thought) was a week of unlimited reading. Well, that only got me about 15 chapters. So, I paid a higher price for a week again, I figured the book would be worth the cost. I finished the book and went to Playstore to unsubscribe, like I had for the original purchase. Novelverse is not in my Playstore subscriptions! I went to the app to cancel, and you have to fill out a cancelation request, and it takes 30 days to get canceled, and they charge $19.99 every week! What a scam!

The one story I tried to read was very interesting until I got to chapter 6 and suddenly I needed to pay coins to unlock the chapter. I'm fine with some sort of payment system. What I'm not fine with is not being told how much the chapter costs. I had no idea how much the book would end up costing me. Can anyone say "Red Flag"? Also, I had earned coins but you can't claim them unless you give them your email account and create an account with them. They haven't earned it yet! Such a sketchy app.

The book I chose is a good read, but paying 20 dollars for less than 54 chapters, or 238 coins for 1 chapter is so expensive I will not complete this book and I will definitely delete this application as soon as I can. I will not pay well over a hundred dollar for a mediocre book. I would only pay that much on a medical text or a book a lot more educational that this story. All I can say to other buyers is beware!!!!!
