Gioco Digitale's block puzzle mode includes a ghost piece, a transparent outline showing exactly where the current tetromino will land, allowing you to confirm placement before committing the drop.

This ghost piece is particularly valuable when the playfield has an irregular surface and the landing position is not immediately obvious from the current fall height.

The hold slot stores the current piece aside so you can bring it back later; this is most useful when a difficult piece arrives at a bad moment and a more accommodating shape is needed for the current gap.

Three next-piece previews show which tetrominoes are queued to fall, giving enough foresight to plan not just the current placement but the next two or three moves.
