About this game

UrbaWeazz is a mobile app for urban scavenger hunts that brings the virtual world to life! Discover the secrets and unusual heritage of your city, alone, with family, or with friends, through a route punctuated with riddles and delightful surprises. Your mission: find as many WeazzBases as possible hidden throughout the city!

URBAWEAZZ IS STRUCTURED AROUND 3 PHASES OF GAMEPLAY:

THE SEARCH - Your city hides secrets right in front of everyone. Look up, scrutinize every nook and cranny: UrbaWeazz QR Codes are worth the effort!

THE RIDDLES - Rebus puzzles, riddles, general knowledge quizzes, and more... Each discovered marker holds its own mystery, and your brainpower will be put to the test to unlock it!

THE DISCOVERY - Once the riddle is solved, the location reveals its story: forgotten anecdotes, unusual heritage, and a vintage photo. You'll never look at these streets the same way again!

SO HOW DOES IT ACTUALLY WORK?

When you first log in, your location will be used to discover all the WeazzBases around you.
Choose your target and follow the clue that will lead you to the UrbaWeazz QR Code once you arrive.
Scan it with the reader built into the app and try to solve the puzzle that appears (hints are available if you get stuck!).
Once you solve the puzzle, the WeazzBase unlocks: you've won! You collect Weazzy and discover new WeazzBases on your map.

UrbaWeazz uses geolocation services to activate markers or orientation maps around your location, even in the background.

When the UrbaWeazz app is running in the background, access to your location allows you to search for and display new markers (maps) around your position or location and launch the puzzle game (questions/answers) that lets you progress through our scavenger hunt, collect Weazzy points, and discover useful information about your surroundings.
UrbaWeazz collects location data to ensure the scavenger hunt continues even in the background. The viewing, collection, and use of this data are strictly limited to this purpose. Your data is not rented, sold, or shared with any third parties. Of course, if the user has disabled GPS location collection, they will not be able to access the urban scavenger hunt features.
