Ezhil is a home screen you can actually make your own — quick to use out of the box, and deep when you want to dig in.

MAKE THE HOME SCREEN YOURS
Seven home styles, from a plain grid to Hero, Agenda, Edge, Minimal, Terminal and Bento. Set your grid, resize and stack widgets, group apps into folders, and swap the dock for the layout you prefer. Free placement lets you drop anything anywhere, at any size or angle, off the grid entirely.

WIDGETS THAT BEHAVE
Every widget your apps provide, plus 28 built into the launcher: clocks, weather, calendar, music, battery, notes, progress rings and more. Stack several widgets in one spot and swipe between them like cards. Drag to move, pull the handles to resize — no fighting the grid.

AN APP DRAWER BUILT FOR FINDING THINGS
Eight layouts — grid, paged, list, arc, diagonal, cascade, tiles and stack. Sort A–Z, by how often you open apps, by what you installed last, or by colour. Filter by category, hide apps behind your fingerprint, and jump with the alphabet rail.

SEARCH EVERYTHING
One field for apps, contacts, settings, files, calendar events and the web, with a T9 dialer for typing names on a number pad. Pick your own search engine.

GESTURES
Swipe up, swipe down, two-finger swipes, pinch, double tap, long press, and gestures on the dock and home button. Bind any of them to a launcher action or straight to an app.

MADE TO LOOK GOOD
Material You colours from your wallpaper or an accent you choose, four icon shapes, icon pack support, per-app icons and names, blur and glass effects, and a true black theme for OLED screens. Theme packs apply a whole look at once, and everything stays editable afterwards.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No ads. No tracking. No account. Nothing you set up leaves your phone. Back up your whole layout to a file you keep, and restore it on a new device. Notification badges and usage insight are optional and only work if you switch them on.

One payment, no subscription. Pro adds the rest of the home styles and drawer layouts, the full widget library, widget stacks, free placement, every gesture, per-app icons, appearance controls, focus mode and timers, feed customising and search extras.

The free launcher stays a complete launcher: home screen, dock, folders, drawer, search, gestures, icon packs, hidden apps and backup are all included. Nothing you have already set up is ever taken away.

SUPPORTS
Android 11 and newer. Work profiles and Private Space. Tablets and foldables, with a two-pane settings layout on large screens. Light and dark themes.

A note on accessibility permissions: actions like pulling down the notification shade need Android's accessibility service, which some banking apps refuse to run alongside. Ezhil never asks for it by default — swipe down opens the launcher's own search instead, and you only grant it if you choose one of those actions yourself.
