MegaCore plays Sega Mega Drive, Genesis, Master System and Game Gear game files that are already on your device.
MegaCore does not include any games. It ships no game files and no BIOS, it cannot search for or download them, and it has no built-in browser or store. You point it at a folder you already have, and it plays what it finds there.
FEATURES
• Mega Drive / Genesis, Master System and Game Gear in one app — the system is detected from the file itself, so there is nothing to choose
• Save states with thumbnails, so you can stop anywhere and pick up exactly where you were
• Rewind — hold the rewind button to step back out of a mistake
• Battery saves work exactly as the original cartridge did, and are kept even if you rename or move the file
• Fast forward for slow text and long intros
• Three-button and six-button control pads, switchable per game
• Move and resize every on-screen button, in portrait and landscape independently
• Physical controller support, with fully remappable buttons
• Landscape and portrait, with your choice of pixel-perfect or fit-to-screen scaling
HOW TO USE IT
1. Put your game files in a folder on your device
2. Open MegaCore and choose that folder
3. Your games appear in the library
Supported file types: .md, .bin, .gen, .sms, .gg, and .zip archives containing them.

MegaCore is free and supported by ads. Ads appear in the library and settings, and briefly when you launch a game. There are never ads on top of a running game.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Sega CD and 32X titles are not supported. MegaCore ships no games, no BIOS and no copyrighted content of any kind.
