Important Compatibility Information

Accessibility Service Disclosure:
Split Apps requires the AccessibilityService API to perform the Android system split-screen action (GLOBAL_ACTION_TOGGLE_SPLIT_SCREEN) to automatically launch your selected dual apps side-by-side in split-screen mode.

Data Safety: Split Apps does NOT collect, read, store, or transmit any personal data, sensitive user information, or screen content using the AccessibilityService API.

Ratings and reviews

Often doesn't work, opens either app of the pair in full screen instead. When it works, it's great, but I can't rely on it - for reasons see above.

Interesting utility. Functions on Moto G5 running Oreo 8.1. Requires no internet permission. Reasonable footprint. No fault many apps don't support split screen. Takes over "recent" button. Have to force close and re-grant Accessibility permission each time. Developer isn't the most responsive.

Great idea but very poor execution. It crashes almost 100% of the times and make the phone unresponsive. Have to restart the phone envery time. Google Pixel 5, Android 11 September 2021 Security Patch
