About this app

See what the machines see. 👁️

Lucent is a 53-tool intelligence and privacy kit that runs on your phone. No account, no backend, no API keys and nothing to sign up for. Every lookup goes straight to a public source or never leaves the device at all.

🔍 LOOK UP ANYTHING PUBLIC
IP Intelligence · DNS Toolkit · IP to host · Domain WHOIS · ASN and BGP · HTTP Inspector · TLS and certificate inspector · Site Status · Subdomain Finder · Username Footprint.

Resolve an address, read a domain's records, trace who owns a network, inspect a full certificate chain, find every subdomain in the transparency logs, or settle whether a site is down for everyone or only for you. Username Footprint checks one handle against 67 public platforms.

🛡️ SPOT A SCAM BEFORE YOU TAP
Threat Lookup unmasks where a shortened link really goes and rates the risk. QR Safety Scanner reads the code and checks the link before anything opens. Phone Intelligence returns a number's carrier, line type and region offline. Email Header Analyser traces every hop and gives the SPF, DKIM and DMARC verdict. APK Inspector verifies an installer file's signature and lists the permissions, components and libraries inside, before you install it.

☣️ KNOW THE THREAT LANDSCAPE
Security Feed carries the day's reporting from eight security publications alongside the CVEs confirmed to be under active exploitation. Malware Index is an offline encyclopedia of over 990 families, from WannaCry and Stuxnet to the ransomware in this morning's headlines, with aliases, the groups that use them and the techniques they rely on.

👣 SEE YOUR OWN FOOTPRINT
Check an email against known breaches. See the profile, keys and linked accounts a stranger finds on your GitHub. Read the browser fingerprint sites use to recognise you with cookies cleared. Strip metadata from photos, video, audio, documents, PDFs and archives: EXIF and GPS coordinates, camera models, author names, comment rosters and the identifiers that tie every copy of a file to every other. Check whether the phone itself is rooted or its bootloader unlocked, using hardware key attestation rather than guesswork.

📡 MEASURE THE WORLD AROUND YOU
EMF meter · light meter · compass · vibration meter · sound level meter · Wi-Fi analyser · GNSS satellites · cellular signal · Bluetooth scanner · NFC reader · network scanner · port scanner · traceroute · speed test · DNS control · network diagnostics.

📸 New in this version, Geotag Camera stamps a photograph or a recording with the place, time, weather and live sensor readings, written into the file's own metadata as well as onto the picture.

🧰 OFFLINE UTILITIES
Hashing, encoding, JWT decoding, IPv4 and IPv6 subnet maths, password strength, passphrase generation, MAC vendor lookup across the full IEEE registry, OpenPGP key generation and signing, a protocol status-code reference, and a file encryptor that locks any file with AES-256 behind a passphrase only you hold.

🔒 WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
There is no Lucent server. Nothing you look up is logged, retained or built into a profile, because there is nowhere to put it. Settings lists every public source the app can reach, tool by tool, and what each one is asked.

Lucent reports infrastructure and reputation. It will not resolve a person to a name, a face or a home, and it says so plainly wherever someone might expect otherwise. When a source is rate-limited or unreachable, it tells you the answer is inconclusive instead of inventing one. Results are facts with their limits attached.

🔑 ABOUT PERMISSIONS
Each permission is requested only when you open the tool that needs it, and is used for nothing else. The signal tools ask for location because that is how Android gates radio scanning, not because Lucent locates anyone. Scan only networks and devices you own or are authorised to test.

✅ No ads. No trackers. No subscriptions. No account.
