About this app

THE ALL NEW BHIVA GUIDELINES MOBILE APPLICATION

Since the 1990s, BHIVA has been producing guidelines for the management of HIV infection, which, while primarily intended for the use of UK physicians, have international influence.

Guidelines are published, in HIV Medicine and are also available on the BHIVA iOS app, BHIVA mobile website (http://bhivaguidelines.org/) BHIVA website (http://www.bhiva.org/guidelines.aspx).

The Guidelines encompass the treatment of antiretroviral diseases and specific guidelines on the management of TB and hepatitis co-infected individuals, transplantation, immunisation, malignancy, opportunistic infections, reproductive and sexual health and pregnancy.

The endeavours of the Guidelines Subcommittee now encompass not only the treatment of antiretroviral diseases but also specific guidelines on the management of TB and hepatitis co-infected individuals, transplantation, immunisation, malignancy, opportunistic infections, reproductive and sexual health and pregnancy.

Good app, although has lost sections that were present on the older version. Mainly the post-exposure prophylaxis section

Useful app but why have you got rid of the PEPSE guidance? This was excellent for showing patients in clinic to help explain why they did or didn't need PEP.
