You don't have to deal with cumbersome paper scoring anymore! The 9-ball APA Pool Scorer app makes it very easy to keep track of your pocketed balls for practice or tournament play.

The 9-Ball APA Scorer app uses the APA (America Pool Association) scoring system with the Equalizer Handicap® method, where all pocketed balls are one points, with the exception of the 9 ball that values two points. Players win by points, rather than racks won. The number of points needed for a win is determined by the players official APA Skill Level (e.g., a SL5 needs 38 points to win, while a SL6 needs 46 points). Dead balls can be marked as such. The app also supports marking timeouts, defense shots, innings, break-and-runs, and 9-on-the-snap.

The app supports Undo and has memory of your last score, even after closing the app (or in case of unexpected crashes).

Good app, could offer more. It's called APA Pool Scorer, but only does 9 ball. Should add 8 ball too. Other than that, it's a good app for keeping APA scores in 9 ball for practice matches.
