Bias Unlocker helps you read the news with sharper eyes. Paste any article and it builds a ready-to-run prompt — bundling the article with a detailed "field manual" of media techniques — that you hand to the AI chatbot you already use. The chatbot does the analysis; Bias Unlocker writes the perfect ask.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Paste an article (or use the companion browser extension to grab it in one click).
2. Pick how you want it analyzed.
3. Tap "Copy & open in" to send the prompt straight to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Mistral, or Perplexity — or copy it anywhere.

TWO MODES
• Fact- & bias-check — the AI flags framing, loaded language, source laundering, contextless statistics, and other techniques the manual catalogs.
• Neutral rewrite — the AI rewrites the piece with the spin stripped out, keeping the verifiable facts.

CALIBRATED TO THE PIECE
Choose a content type — Journalism, Opinion, Commentary, or Advocacy — so the analysis applies the right standard instead of judging an op-ed like a news report. Pick a manual style: Neutral (measured) or Cranky (sharper, editorial). Tune the output: lead with a summary, get the bottom line only, or ask for plain-language analysis.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
There is no Bias Unlocker server. No account, no sign-in, no telemetry, no analytics, no tracking. The article you paste and your settings stay on your device. The only thing that ever leaves is the prompt you choose to send — to the chatbot you picked, which has its own privacy policy you already agreed to.
