Parts of the Gospels were first translated into Persian in the Persian Diatessaron in the 13th century. Then more sections of the Gospels were translated by the 16th Century Muslim scholar and critic of Christianity Khatun Abadi.
This version is called the "new millennium" (NMV) or "Tarjumeh-YE-YE millennium no" (the translation of the New Millennium). The translation of the Bible in Farsi is completed and published on September 22, 2014. It was translated and released by Elam Ministries. This translation also made E- sword and a mobile version is also available.
The new translation of the New Testament (New Millennium)
In 2003, a new translation of the New Testament as "the translation of the New Millennium" by the efforts of Elam (England) was performed and published. Features of this translation is faithful to the original Greek of the New Testament and at the same time, the text is returned to a style of writing and harmonious and modern Persian. Translation of the Old Testament, the New Millennium is in the making.
