Bible & Prayers is a complete, genuinely offline Bible for both Catholic and Protestant readers — with a prayer for whatever you are carrying today.
Choose your tradition when you first open the app, and change it any time.
ROMAN CATHOLIC
• The full 73-book canon of the Council of Trent, including Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch and 1–2 Maccabees.
• Choose your Bible: Catholic Public Domain Version (modern English) or the traditional Douay-Rheims (Challoner).
• Catholic devotions: the Holy Rosary with the mysteries for each day, the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Stations of the Cross.
• Catholic prayers: the Memorare, St Michael, St Raphael, Anima Christi and the intercession of the saints.
PROTESTANT
• The 66-book canon.
• Choose your Bible: the King James Version or the World English Bible.
• Classic prayers: the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed, the Serenity Prayer, and prayers for morning, evening and grace at meals.

What’s new
New Catholic Bible: the World English Bible (Catholic) — modern English, numbered like the Bibles used at Mass (Psalm 91 is Psalm 91). The CPDV and Douay-Rheims are still in Settings.
Soft background music now really plays: switch it on in Settings and it plays gently while you read and pray, going quieter when the voice reads.
