The Oriental Version of the Holy Scriptures for Tajikistan, also known as VP-T or CARS-T, is a Russian translation of the Holy Scriptures specially prepared in the 21st century for those indigenous peoples of the Caucasus and Central Asia who read best in Russian language. VP-T adheres to the principle that priority should be given to the terminology used by the target audience in their own spiritual tradition, and to avoid spiritual vocabulary foreign to them, so that the reader understands that the word of the Most High is intended specifically for him.

VP-T~ is a semantic translation, the purpose of which is to accurately convey the meaning of the original in a natural style. To achieve this, a limited deviation from strict literalism is necessary. In those passages whose meaning is disputed by the best scholars, alternative or literal versions are given in footnotes.

VP-T uses the word "Supreme" as the main translation of the words "elohim" and "theos", differing from CARS-A, which uses the word "Allah". VP-T differs from VP only in that VP-T transliterates about forty names in accordance with the Tajik tradition.
