About this app

Bibsplit takes the players who turned up tonight and splits them into two evenly matched teams in seconds. It sends the team sheet to your group chat and works out what each person owes for the pitch. The split comes from ratings you set yourself, rather than from a captain's pick that leaves one side beaten before kick off.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Add your players and give each one a rating from 0 to 10.
2. Tap Balance to build two even sides, or Auto-select to pull a random line-up from your pool.
3. Drag anyone across if you disagree, and both team totals update as you move them.
4. Share the teams, save the match, and add the score once it has been played.

Setting it up takes about a minute. Every week after that takes about ten seconds.

⚽ PICKING THE TEAMS
• Balance builds the closest two sides it can find from the ratings you set.
• Auto-select pulls a random line-up out of your pool instead.
• You can move a player by dragging them, or by tapping them and then a slot.
• Goalkeepers are spread one per side automatically, so you never get two in one team.
• Squad sizes from 4-a-side up to 11-a-side are supported.
• The picker works without an account, so you can try it before you sign up.

📲 SHARING WITH THE GROUP
• You can send the team sheet to WhatsApp, or any other chat app, in a single tap.
• A public match link lets anyone open the line-up without creating an account.
• Everyone who opens that link answers In, Maybe or Out, so you know who is coming.
• Anyone who replies but is not in your pool yet can be added in one tap.
• The team sheet can be emailed as a PDF, Word, Excel, CSV or text attachment.

💷 SPLITTING THE PITCH FEE
• Enter what the pitch cost and Bibsplit works out the amount each person owes.
• Tick people off as they pay you, and the outstanding total drops.
• No money moves through Bibsplit. It does the arithmetic and keeps the tick list.

📅 YOUR WEEKLY FIXTURE
• Save your regular game once, with its day, time, pitch, squad size and team names.
• Pick Team fills those details in for you when the game comes round.
• A reminder arrives before kick off, and another afterwards nudges you to add the result.
• Bibsplit warns you before you save a match that looks wrong, such as one with uneven sides.

• Every player carries a rating, a position and a record of wins, draws and losses.
• You can mark someone as a goalkeeper, an outfield player, or happy anywhere.

• Every player has a win rate, recent form and a current streak.
• Partnerships show which pairs win most often on the same side.

WHAT IT COSTS
Bibsplit carries no adverts and no third-party analytics, and nothing about your squad is sold. A free account gives you unlimited matches, up to 25 players, three months of history and shared match links, which is enough for most groups.

Pro is aimed at the organiser who runs the same game every week. It lifts the limits on history and players, opens up the full squad stats, and lets you set your own team names and colours.

THE APP AND THE WEBSITE
Sign in on the app and at bibsplit.com and you see the same players, matches and stats on both. The app follows your light or dark theme, and you can delete your account at any time, which removes everything with it.

WHO IT IS FOR
Bibsplit was built for five-a-side regulars and Sunday league managers, and it suits work leagues, lunchtime kickabouts and training sessions just as well. It handles futsal, 6-a-side, 7-a-side, walking football and junior sides. If you are the one holding the bibs and asking who wants to go in goal, it was written for you.
