Skip the awkward text. Send a code instead.
DateCode turns "will you go on a date with me?" into a fun, private little game. Pick a day, a time, and an activity, and DateCode turns it into a unique 12-digit code. Send that code to your person — over text, DM, however you like — and let them unlock the surprise themselves.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Create an Invite
Choose the date, time, and activity you have in mind, plus a closing line for when they say yes. DateCode generates a one-of-a-kind code that holds all the details.
2. Send the Code
Copy the code (or a ready-made message) and send it to them any way you want — text, chat, sticky note, up to you.
3. They Decode It
They open DateCode, enter the code, and watch the invite unfold — day, time, and activity revealed one step at a time, ending with the big question. (Fair warning: the "No" button doesn't sit still.)
4. They Reply With a Code
Whether the answer is yes or no, DateCode generates a reply code for them to send back, so you get a clear, official answer — no guessing, no left-on-read.
WHY DATECODE
- No accounts, no sign-ups, no sign-in — just open and go
- Nothing sent over the internet — the whole invite lives inside the code itself
- A lighthearted, memorable way to ask someone out
- Clean, modern design with light and dark themes
- Works entirely offline once installed
Whether you're planning a first date or a hundredth, DateCode makes the ask feel a little more special than a plain text.
DateCode is free to use, with a short ad shown occasionally to keep the app free.
