Biermacht is a homebrewer's companion app and recipe formulator for Android. It allows homebrewers to carry their recipes with them wherever they go. Import recipes from your phone, or the cloud via DropBox. Make changes to existing recipes or create completely new recipes on-the-fly. Biermacht comes with a brew-day timer to track your mash and boil, as well an ever-growing number of useful calculators.

Ratings and reviews

Used the app for two brews so far - extremely useful once you have gotten to grips with the software. It would be super awesome if there was a way to switch between °plato, °brix and SG in the same way you can swap between metric and imperial.

Great app, but it takes a bit to figure out. The brew day timer would be a wonderful help, but it crashes each and every time. A simpler way to contact the developer with problems would also be nice (you have to sign up with GitHub).

It's very easy to use as I've been using it for years, the only downfall now is that the brew day step timer function keeps crashing so I have to do everything manually, no huge deal but was a very handy function to have.

What’s new

- Fixes bug in BJCP style guidelines where incorrect minimum ABV was shown.
- Cleans up recipe format when exported to text file.

Note: In order to pick up the newly fixed BJCP style guidelines, you must reset the ingredient database from the settings page.
