Absurd program. I understand unlocking prevents random people from impulsively throwing garbage into the bins. But requiring users to find the location on a map is pointless and stupid. I have the app open and I'm standing in front of the bin. The light is green. This isn't enough evidence for the bin to open; it can't be found on the map so I'm out of luck. Adding locations to your map isn't the issue - the map is fundamentally stupid. Proximity needs to be enough. Give me a break tech people.

So grateful for this service, and hesitate to say anything about the app that isn't 100% positive. It's probably operator error, but I find the app doesn't always work /unlock the bin. Fortunately, there are two locations within a few blocks of my home. When I can't open one bin, I'll walk to the other bin. The second option is often the winner.

Easy to find compost bins but information not always accurate. Bin may have green light indicating it has room but app says it's full (or vice versa). Also sensors don't work in extreme cold. Keeps telling you to get closer even though you're practically on top of it.
