Remote control for your Big Green Egg!
Remotely manage and monitor cooking temperatures, monitor the temperature of your food, view graphs of your cooks and receive alerts when your cook is finished or when the EGG temperature is too high or low.

The EGG Genius app works with an EGG Genius WiFi Temperature Controller to:
• Control the device through your smartphone, tablet or computer to remotely manage and monitor the internal temperature of the EGG
• Monitor the temperature of your food; view graphs of your cooks
• Receive alerts when your cook is finished or when the EGG temperature is too high or low
• Quickly reach your desired cooking temperature as the blower ramps up to fan the lighted charcoal; once the desired temp is reached, the variable speed blower automatically adjusts the blower speed to optimize the set temperature.
• Automatically lowers the pit temperature to keep your food warm when the cook is complete.
• Detects the sudden temperature drop from opening the dome and turns the fan off temporarily to avoid over-stoking the fire.
• In the case of a power outage, the unit continues running at the saved set temperature and reconnects to the WiFi network automatically when power returns.
• Use up to 3 meat probes at once – additional meat probes with Y-cable can be purchased separately.

RETURN YOUR GENIUS IMMEDIATELY. This app no longer works, dropping connection constantly, failing on wifi setup, and even when you get it connected it fails to set the right temperature as it only checks the temp and sets the fan speed when you first open the app. You need to constantly force close and reopen the app to force a temp check and fan speed update. Absolutely unusable.

Worked near flawlessly for years. The latest update loses the controller every 30 to 40 minutes. I have to unplug the Genius and plug it back in. I have the same phone, internet and egg location. The app changed. I can no longer set "Keep. Warm" temperature. I used that a lot on overnight cooks.

This software has never worked correctly. When opened, it says I need to update the software, but it IS the latest and only version. I cannot communicate with the Egg Genius device. The old version of the egg fan was better that did not require Wi-Fi. The device and software are both worthless; don't buy! Waste of money.
