Remote control for your Big Green Egg!
Remotely manage and monitor cooking temperatures, monitor the temperature of your food, view graphs of your cooks and receive alerts when your cook is finished or when the EGG temperature is too high or low.

The EGG Genius app works with an EGG Genius WiFi Temperature Controller to:
• Control the device through your smartphone, tablet or computer to remotely manage and monitor the internal temperature of the EGG
• Monitor the temperature of your food; view graphs of your cooks
• Receive alerts when your cook is finished or when the EGG temperature is too high or low
• Quickly reach your desired cooking temperature as the blower ramps up to fan the lighted charcoal; once the desired temp is reached, the variable speed blower automatically adjusts the blower speed to optimize the set temperature.
• Automatically lowers the pit temperature to keep your food warm when the cook is complete.
• Detects the sudden temperature drop from opening the dome and turns the fan off temporarily to avoid over-stoking the fire.
• In the case of a power outage, the unit continues running at the saved set temperature and reconnects to the WiFi network automatically when power returns.
• Use up to 3 meat probes at once – additional meat probes with Y-cable can be purchased separately.

app has degraded significantly over the years. I've cooked with the genius since 2019. problems really started occuring in 2024, and it's basically unusable now. 1. many buttons don't click at all (including the start new cook button) 2. wifi connection is way more finicky than it used to be 3. forms like set pit temp will look like they work when you click the update / form submit button, but don't work. the form dismisses but temps never update

I've used this app multiple times without a single issue. I've highlighted to multiple Green Egg users this was by far the best investment for my Green Egg until this Thanksgiving. I had multiple issues connecting to the server and eventually had to give up and goto my Bluetooth thermometer and remove the Egg genious. Fast forward to today, I'm cooking a brisket and the app is crashing multiple times and is basically useless after the Egg comes up to temperature. Please upgrade the app/servers!

it works, but it's hard to get connected to the internet and phone. after finally getting connected and up and working, the one thing that really ticks me off is the updating. basically to get it to update you have to close the app out, and then reopen it to get an updated reading this is really frustrating. even if I had a button for me to push to update it would be better than what it currently is.
