About this app
PDF Maker finds all your PDF files on your device and lists them in one place, together with your Word and text documents. Open a file in the PDF viewer to read it, then highlight, sign, merge or compress it, right on your phone.
Read PDFs comfortably
• Scroll up and down or side to side, page by page or continuously
• Zoom in, jump to any page, and pick up where you left off
• Night mode for dark pages, a brightness slider, keep screen on, and a dark theme for the whole app
• Search the text of a PDF, then highlight, underline or copy what you select
• Open password-protected files when you know the password
Annotate PDFs
• Highlight, underline and strike through text
• Draw with a pen, add text on the page, and erase marks
• Six colors, with undo and redo
• Your marks are saved to a copy, so the original file stays as it was
Sign PDFs
• Draw your signature with your finger and keep up to 5
• Tap the page to place a signature, then move or resize it
• Sign contracts, agreements and letters without printing them
PDF tools
• Merge PDF files: combine up to 50 into one, in the order you choose
• Split a PDF into two files at the page you pick, or organize its pages: reorder, rotate, delete and extract
• Compress PDF files to reduce their size. High compression needs Premium, or you can watch a short ad to use it once
• Lock a PDF with a password (AES-256), or unlock one when you know its password
• Save PDF pages as PNG images
Create PDFs
• Scan to PDF: point your camera at a page, and the document scanner finds the edges and crops it. Scan up to 50 pages into one PDF
• Images to PDF: turn up to 50 photos (JPG, PNG and more) into one PDF, one photo per page
• Word to PDF: convert a Word (.docx) or text (.txt) file on your phone, in A4 or Letter size

• Read Word (.docx) and text (.txt) files in the built-in document reader, and share them
OCR: copy text from scans
• Recognize the text in a scanned PDF or a photo, then copy it or save a searchable copy
• Text recognition runs on your phone and reads Latin-alphabet text
