This app features daily updated local news from 7News, one of the top leading news sources in the Watertown NY, Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties area for 60 years. Weather is available from this app for the tri-county area. This app also features a detailed program guide for both the stations.

Every time I open this app it opens an ad that doesn't allow me to close out of it without clicking the ad and opening a site I do not want to be in or taking me to the play store to download another app - it's absolutely ridiculous. There should be an "x" or something that clearly displays where to close the ad. Until that feature is fixed, I will only access 7News via a web browser.

Previous version was more user friendly and loaded at a decent clip. This one is full of ads, national news is jumbled with local, and never updates over the weekend. All those ads and flashy layouts bog down the loading time to a crawl even with a good connection. It isnt a useful way to keep up anymore, its more bloatware than news app. I find the installed weather app to be more accurate than what i dig out of this one.

For the past two months or so, the app has stopped working when I select a story. Reinstalling and submitting bug reports has not resulted in any change or feedback. It worked well prior to this, my only complaint then was that it wasn't updated on weekends or holidays.
