bina is an AI chatbot and parental control app designed for Muslim children β created to support safe, age-appropriate learning aligned with Islamic values, while giving parents the tools to guide and protect their child's device use.

bina gives kids a friendly AI companion to explore ideas and learn, with age-appropriate responses and content moderation intended to reduce harmful or unsuitable content.

On the child's device, parents can set daily screen-time limits and choose which apps their child is allowed to use. When a time limit is reached or a blocked app is opened, bina gently returns the child to a safe screen.

To enforce the parental controls you set, bina uses Android's Accessibility Service on the child's device. bina reads the name of the app currently in the foreground so it can block apps you have restricted and enforce the screen-time limits you configure. This information is used only on the device to apply your settings β screen contents are never read, and this data is never collected for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties. Accessibility access can be turned off at any time in Android Settings.
bina is a parental monitoring tool intended for parents to supervise and manage their own children's devices. It does not operate covertly and always makes its presence and purpose clear on the device.
