Keep everyday paperwork easy to find. FolioNook brings selected documents into one personal library on your Android device.
Choose manuals, course documents, certificates or household files with Android's document picker. FolioNook keeps its own copies, so your source files stay unchanged.
- Add folders, tags and personal notes.
- Search document names, original filenames, tags and notes.
- Mark favourites and sort by name, date added, size or file type.
- Preview supported PDFs and images, or open a document in another compatible app.
- Review identical files before keeping another copy.
- Share original files or save them to a location you choose.
- Create portable ZIP backups and restore documents with their saved details.
No account is needed. The app contains no ads, analytics or cloud synchronization. Its core library works offline; a storage provider or external app you choose may use its own online services.
Search covers your catalogue metadata, not words inside document files. FolioNook does not include OCR or document editing. Preview support depends on the file; password-protected or unsupported documents may need another app.
Imported copies use additional device storage. Deleting a managed copy leaves its source original and earlier exports unchanged. Uninstalling removes the app's local library, so save a backup outside the app first. Backups are unencrypted ZIP files: choose a destination you trust. FolioNook is a document organizer, not an encrypted vault.
Each imported file can be up to 128 MiB. Backup document payloads can total up to 512 MiB, subject to catalogue and item-count limits. Restoring adds copies without replacing your existing library. Full-library backups include empty folders; appearance settings are not included.
