Almost perfect. I can't get past chapter 8 drill 7 because it keeps giving me an inordinately high amount of diminished chords compared to the other chords. It is really annoying that you have to be super advanced at recognizing chords and inversions before you can even start the easy part of the scales chapter. The difficulties need to be organized more seamlessly. Still the best app of its kind, though.
I wish it would have been possible to be allowed to access the next levels when practicing in the advanced mode without having the passing standards set so high, or set up at all. My aim is to go through all the content without having to pass each and every level in the given order. Having a score helps me to find out what I know but restricting the access to the next level does not allow me to have a general picture about my knowledge.
The intervals it starts with in easy mode (M3, P4, P5) are not wisely chosen. They are the easiest to sing but not the easiest to tell apart. This makes easy mode not so easy. Should have started with an octave and tritone then 6th, then 3rd etc. Perfect 5th should actually be the last one added. It's easily confused with the 4th and the octave for beginners. Edit: if it's so subjective let us skip ahead to the things we want to get to. Extremely frustrating way to set this up.
It would be useful if it was possible to set the root note to always be the same in the Interval Recognition instead of it being a random note each time. It's really hard for a beginner to recognize the intervals when the root is constantly changing.
Wouldn't hurt if you could add the option to download sound banks via mobile network .The app got deleted and I'm now stuck
I really do think the methods you use to teach intervals at the start aren't refined. I just walk away frustrated and by frustrated, I mean I want to throw my phone across the room. I get no opportunity to hear the intervals before being thrown into the fire.
