About this app

RinTrack is a private, offline loan tracker for people who lend money to family or friends and want clean records — no spreadsheets, no accounts, no cloud.

Everything you enter — borrowers, loan amounts, interest rates, payments, settlements — is stored only on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no permissions beyond what you explicitly grant for file backups.

KEY FEATURES

• Borrowers
Add and manage the people you've lent money to. Phone, email, address and notes are all optional.

• Loans
Record principal, interest rate, start date, optional agreed end date or open-ended terms, simple or compound interest, monthly or yearly period, and how payments are allocated (interest first, principal first, or proportional).

• Live interest calculation
See the exact accrued interest as of today on every active loan. Project forward to any future date with one tap to see what the borrower will owe.

• Payments
Log partial payments any time. RinTrack recomputes the remaining balance, interest, and total payable instantly using your chosen allocation rule. Configurable behaviour for whether the payment day itself is charged interest.

• Close & settle
Close a loan when fully repaid, with an optional discount, settlement date, and free-form note. All settlement details are preserved.

• Dashboard summary
Total outstanding (principal + interest as of today), number of active loans, number of borrowers, amount received this month, top borrowers by exposure, and a warning for loans idle 90+ days.

• Tools
Built-in interest calculator (tiered year → month → day, simple or compound) and an accurate AD ↔ BS (Bikram Sambat) date converter for the Nepali calendar.

• Filters, sorts and search
Filter by status (active / closed / all), filter by borrower, sort by start date or principal, search borrowers by name.

• Trash & undo
Deletes are soft-deleted to a Trash bin for 30 days (configurable). Restore individual items or whole borrower bundles. Undo is offered for 6 seconds after every delete.

• Backups
Export everything to a JSON file at a location you choose. Automatic backup keeps that file up to date on every launch and when the app is closed. Optional AES-256-GCM password encryption protects backups from anyone who gets the file.

• Localisation
English and Nepali (नेपाली). Choose per-app currency (with symbol or code) and number format (Lakh or Million / Billion grouping).

PRIVACY

RinTrack runs entirely on your device.

• No accounts, no cloud sync, no telemetry, no ads.
• No internet permission used to send any of your data anywhere.
• Backups are written only to the file you choose. Optional password encryption.
• No tracking SDKs of any kind.

Anyone who lends money personally and wants:
• Accurate, automatic interest tracking instead of mental math
• A clear audit trail of every payment
• Their data to stay on their phone — not in a third-party server

RinTrack is not a payday-loan service, not a credit product, and not a marketplace. It is a personal record-keeping tool.
