A batch code is a unique identification number (or set of letters and numbers) assigned to one product batch. For example, 40T500. The batch code may contain the manufactured date, manufacturer code, and manufacture place. In case of quality issues, the batch code can be used to find the root cause of the problem and potentially also to stop other faulty products from being sold.
The batch code is usually engraved or printed directly at the bottom of the product container or on the product packaging.

I love this app! I feel so impowered, instead of wondering if the product is good or not, now I can check on it. When was it manufactured? Products are good for (3) three years. Mark the date you opened it- either 6M or 12M look for the Icon. So easy to use just pick the mfg's name and type the batch code. Trust me, you will be glad and surprised by the outcome...

I am a vendor and put out a lot of make up products. This app makes it a lot easier to figure out batch codes. HOWEVER... There's no Wet n Wild! D: I can't even find an app or website that perfectly translates their batch codes and it's a huge bummer. Would love to see Wet n Wild listed in the future.

They were able to put other brands that I wanted on the list when they emailed me and asked me about my concern. Really good customer service and app! I'm a makeup reseller so it's important for me to check the shelf life of the products I sell. ❤
