About this app

Bindo Birding: birding between friends.

Track sightings, compete with friends, and contribute to conservation, all from one powerful app built for the field.

Bindo is a fully offline-first birding app that lets you record sightings anywhere, anytime, even without signal. Everything syncs automatically when you reconnect. Explore nearby sightings on an interactive map, filter by species, distance, date, and verification status, and discover your next target bird. Document every observation with multiple photos and browse community photos by species in a gallery-style layout.

Birding is better together. Follow other birders, like and comment on sightings, and stay connected through a real-time social feed. Create birding groups, invite members, organise timed events, and compete on group leaderboards. Join challenges, climb area leaderboards, and get notified about rare sighting reports, new followers, and leaderboard changes, all in real time.

Contribute to conservation through dedicated SABAP2 atlassing tools with grid-based surveys, full and ad-hoc protocols, and observer ID tracking. Track area stats, discover target species for any region, and see who's leading in your favourite birding spots. Whether you're a lister, a twitcher, or an atlasser, Bindo puts everything you need in one place.
