📺 Vehicle Screen Mirroring

Wirelessly mirrors your smartphone screen to the vehicle browser in real-time without the need for separate hardware.

🔒 VPN Usage Guide (Mirroring Only)

To transmit the mirrored video to the vehicle browser, the Android VPN (VpnService) is used solely for local loopback purposes within the device. Internet traffic is not transmitted or collected externally, nor is it used for advertising, analytics, or sales; all processing takes place exclusively within the device. If mirroring is not used, the VPN is disabled, and it can be deactivated at any time in the Android settings.

📡 Vehicle Telemetry

Using the official Tesla API, we query your vehicle's status (battery, charge, mileage, temperature, climate control, location, driving/charging history, doors, locks, etc.) and store this data exclusively within your account to provide features such as battery history, driving analysis, afterblow, and charging monitoring. Data is not sold or shared with third parties, and collection stops when the integration is disconnected.

[Accessibility Service Usage Guide]

EvTmate uses the Android Accessibility Service to integrate with Tesla Map App destinations.

• What: When you start navigation on Kakao Navi or Naver Maps, we read only the 'destination' on the screen and transmit it to your Tesla (since these two apps do not include destinations in notifications, there is no other method other than Accessibility Service).

• When: It only checks the destination and guidance status at the moment navigation starts; it does not read other screens or personal information.

• Consent/Disabling: Off by default. It operates only when enabled after consenting within the app, and can be turned off at any time via the app or Android settings.

• Data: Destinations and coordinates are stored on the device for a short period and then automatically deleted. They are transmitted only to your Tesla and are not shared with third parties.

VPN: Used only as an on-device local loopback tunnel for wireless screen mirroring to in-vehicle browsers. No internet traffic is sent to, collected by, or shared with external servers; not used for ads/analytics. Active only during mirroring; disable anytime in Android settings.

Accessibility Service: Powers the “Tesla map destination sync” feature. When you start navigation in KakaoNavi or Naver Map, it reads only the on-screen destination (which these apps don't expose via notifications) and sends it to your own Tesla; it reads nothing else. Off by default, enabled only via in-app consent, disableable anytime; Destinations are cached briefly on-device and never shared with third parties.

Vehicle Telemetry: Retrieved via the manufacturer's official API with your account login and stored under your account only to provide in-app features (battery history, driving/charging analysis, etc.). Never sold or shared; stops when you disconnect telemetry.
