Whether in the city (#urbangardening) or in the garden in the country: #growyourown, but there is - especially for beginners - a lot to learn and a lot of knowledge to gather. Progress, both successes and failures, should be documented from the start in order to learn from them.
But where do you write down this flood of information?
So you want to collect information and tips, but not only about your vegetables in the (raised) bed, but also about your flowers, perennials, shrubs, trees and lawn care? Do you want a to-do list, manage your gardening books and create a diary with photos?

Try this comprehensive app for managing and documenting your garden. The download is free, so you can test the app extensively. The following areas are available to you
- Diary: Document not only vegetables, but all plants and areas in your garden. With up to 4 photos per entry.
- To-do list: Write down here what you should do next. In order not to miss important tasks.
- Bed management: Plan and manage your (vegetable) beds or entire areas in the garden. Past years are saved and you can already create the next year.
- Genera: Collect all information about genera that you have planted and/or that YOU are interested in. You can plant and use not only vegetables, but also flowers, perennials, shrubs, trees and all other plants in your garden.
- Varieties: In addition to the information about a genus, you can also manage variety-specific features, even in the diary!
- Sources: Collect and manage your garden books and/or information as a PDF, photo, file or link and assign them to one or more genres.
And all this in 1 app!
Here you can collect information from all channels available to you: books, websites, other apps or tips on social media. But you can also enter a recommendation from your neighbor or gardener here and find it again easily. Every kind of information has its place.
All areas are linked and synced between multiple devices (both iOS and Android). So you always have your data at hand.
Except for a few sample entries, there are no genera or varieties that have already been entered!
With these sample entries you can test how extensive the app is and how it works. You can keep, add to or delete these entries. In the free version, however, only a maximum of 5 entries per area are possible. If you want to use the app to its full extent, please subscribe to the premium version.
