BIP analyzes any food product in seconds. Point the camera at the barcode and immediately receive a clear assessment of what you're putting in your cart.

HOW IT WORKS
• Scans the barcode of any product
• We consult the world's largest food database (Open Food Facts, +3 million products)
• We calculate a score from 0 to 100 based on European science
• We show the positive, negative and identified additives

THE BIP SCORE
The score combines four scientific components:
— Official Nutri-Score (60%): calories, sugar, fat, salt, fiber and protein
— NOVA Grade (15%): level of industrial processing
— Additives (15%): classified according to EFSA and IARC opinions
— Organic label (10%): recognized organic certification

BIP is the first food scanner app developed specifically for the Portuguese market. Local products, Portuguese brands, all in European Portuguese.
