Explore birds from around the world, or select a specific geographic area to practice recognizing bird songs.
The app offers multiple-choice quizzes with two modes: training and challenge. The quiz plays a bird song, and it’s up to you to identify the bird's name.
You can choose where the birds featured in the quiz come from using an interactive map. Over 8000 birds are available worldwide.
In challenge mode, compare your best score with other players, and unlock achievements with Google Play Games.
It is fully available in English and French. The birds can be translated in 12 additional languages German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Lithuanian, Slovak, Swedish, Polish, Chinese, and Russian.
Additionally, you can search for the name of any bird in the world to access a detailed page about it, including examples of its songs and links to useful resources.
The app is completely free and ad-free, developed in my free time. It is still in development, so feel free to suggest new features.
The app relies on Xeno-canto and Wikipedia for its content, that's why an internet connection is required.
