About this app

Rook or raven? Black-capped chickadee or marsh tit? House sparrow or tree sparrow? Thanks to Tori, you'll become a master at identifying Polish birds! Before you know it, you'll be able to distinguish even the most similar species like a seasoned ornithologist.

HOW TORI WORKS
Tori shows you bird cards from a deck of over 1,500 images. You turn the card over to find out which species is on your card. Did you guess? Congratulations! Didn't you get it? No problem – the bird returns to the deck and you'll see each other again. Just be careful, because you won't always see the same image.

CREATE A DECK FOR YOURSELF
Are you interested in waders that might be present in Pomerania in October? No problem! Tori lets you configure the deck by province and season. You can also select specific orders, families, and even species of birds to focus on.

FOR BEGINNERS AND ADVANCED
Are you just starting your birdwatching adventure? We have something for you. You can use our ready-made decks featuring the most beautiful Polish birds, species found in cities, or those most likely to visit bird feeders. If that's too easy, you can always create your own deck. To make things even more challenging, you can add migratory and uncertain species.

RELIABLE DATA
Tori uses the AviList taxonomy, and occurrence data comes from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) database. Additionally, we only consider species recognized by the Polish Faunistic Commission.

PRIVACY
Tori will not collect your data or display ads.
