For a couple of years I used both this app and eBird app but now I only use this one because it has more features. Ones I use most often are (1) sorting taxonomy by last name first, eg, Duck, Mottled as it the fastest lookup. (2) displays yearly abundance for every species. (3) multiple taxonomies. I use birds, mammals and plants most often (4) pinpoints exact location for every entry, not just gps for the whole list. (5) uploads immediately to the cloud. (6) easy access to photos and audio.

This app is awesome. The interface is easy to use and sightings upload to the client or ebird are a breeze. I use ebird, but I can be lazy about the ebird protocol of hourly lists. I often carry a phone, camera binoculars, recording equipment and a scope!. It is hard with all that gear to fumble glasses and type in ebird out in the field. With this mobile app you can increase the font size so you don't need glasses.

Nice simple to use app. Handles multiple checklists (Birds, butterflies, etc.) very elegantly, supports eBird hotspot and other location taxonomy lists. Sort taxonomic or alphabetical and only list what you see during an outing.

What's new

eBird Hotspot locations are no longer truncated to one line in the dropdown for eBird Checklist downloads.
