OPEN TESTING NOTE: Oh Fudge is currently getting a complete visual overhaul. The new graphics and UI are being rebuilt screen by screen, so the current test version still contains a mix of old artwork. Things look a little inconsistent right now. The gameplay is ready for testing while I work through Visual 2.0 and bring the whole game into one consistent style. Thanks for hanging in there while I get it finished.
This isn't just another game of Oh Hell.
Oh Fudge takes classic trick-taking and gives it something extra. Play a traditional game with 6, 8, or 10 players, or let the dealer shake things up with preset rules designed to bring chaos—not advantages—from hand to hand.
Then hit the Road to the Joker, a three-round tournament where advancing means new tables, tougher opponents, and a new house rule waiting at every stop. Survive it all and earn your seat across from The Joker.
Play it straight or see just how many ways game night can go sideways.
ROAD TO THE JOKER
Start at the family table with 10 players. Finish in the top six and you're moving on.
Round 2 takes game night on the road. Every location has its own house rule that changes how the game is played. Bid with part of your hand hidden at the Campground. Have your cards unexpectedly swapped at the Tailgate. Hear the alarm at the Fire Station and suddenly everyone is forced to play high or low. Every table brings its own trouble.
Survive Round 2 and earn a seat at The Joker Invitational, where the Joker, Queen of Hearts, and King of Spades are waiting at the final table—and the Joker brought his own rules.
DEALER'S CHOICE
Don't want to wait for the tournament to cause trouble?
Whenever it's your turn to deal, make a choice: deal the cards normally or add a rule for that deal with preset rules designed to bring chaos—not advantages—from hand to hand.
Try Blind Bidding. Hide the trump until everyone has bid. Keep everyone's bids secret. Deal the last card after the bids are already locked in. Play without trump. Or choose one of the other Dealer's Choice twists and see what happens. The rule lasts for one deal. Then the cards—and the excuses—keep moving.
OR JUST PLAY CARDS... Sometimes you don't need chaos.
Set up a Single Game with 6, 8, or 10 players, choose your game length and AI difficulty, deal the cards, and play it straight.
Bid how many tricks you think you'll take. Hit your bid exactly for the bonus. Miss by one and prepare to hear about it. One extra trick can ruin a perfect hand. One unlikely card can save a terrible bid. And sometimes the best play is figuring out how not to win.
THE GAME REMEMBERS
Oh Fudge keeps track of more than wins and losses. Perfect bids. Hot streaks. Big bids. Trump cuts. Zero bids. Terrible guesses. Box Scores. Great nights. Rough nights.
At the end of the game, somebody gets the awards.
Somebody gets roasted.
Sometimes that's the same person.
