I wish I could've bypassed the contacts input, but whatever. The home screen is just blank until you search and it seems so bare. I think the app is really cute but frustrating and it seems like I don't have control of many aspects of it. I even went to delete my account before uninstalling and it wouldn't even let me do that... yikes.

This is awful, we must fix it!
I understand your concerns about sharing contacts, but the magic is that we already know everyone's birthdays, but its hard for us to insure which birthdays belong to which contacts if we cant match their info. We dont share or sell your date, and just look at it for birthdays. Ill send you a note on the side.

Great app, for anyone who can't keep track of or find their friends birthdays. Facebook is not needed but say you only give the app access to your contacts it quickly finds their birthdays. Which is good for you and, it's pretty crazy how accurate it can be.
