About this app

BitnpixVoice is a secure business VoIP calling app built with Twilio Programmable Voice. Make and receive calls over the internet, manage call history, and (when enabled for your account) access call recordings and AI-generated transcripts.

Key features
- VoIP calling: place outgoing calls and receive incoming calls on your mobile device
- Incoming call alerts: receive calls via push notifications (FCM)
- In-call controls: mute, speaker, Bluetooth routing, and DTMF keypad
- Call records: view call history and call details
- Call recording & transcription (if enabled): recordings stored in the cloud with transcripts for review/compliance

Foreground service (Android)
- During an active call (including after you answer an incoming call), the app uses an Android foreground service (microphone type) to keep the call connected and microphone audio working reliably while the app is in the background or the screen is locked.
- While active, the app shows an ongoing “call in progress” notification.
- The foreground service stops automatically when the call ends.
- The app does not use the microphone in the background when you are not on a call.

Requirements
- An authorized account is required to sign in.
- Internet connection required for calling and syncing call records.
