WI-FI ANALYZER AND CHANNEL RADAR
Hardware scan engine probes 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz (WiFi 6E/7) networks with real-time RSSI signal strength.
Parabolic interference canvas visualises bandwidth overlap (20, 40, 80, 160 MHz) and channel congestion so you can see exactly which neighbouring networks overlap yours.
Cleanest-channel recommendation calculates the least congested channel in your immediate airspace.
Offline OUI vendor lookup identifies over 120 router and phone manufacturers from their MAC address, with no internet connection required.
Honest distance and link speed shows transparent proximity brackets alongside negotiated transmit and receive rates.

SPEED TEST AND GAMING LATENCY
Multi-stream speed test measures true download and upload bandwidth in parallel.
Gaming server ping test measures latency, jitter and packet loss against Valorant, BGMI, CODM, Fortnite, Cloudflare and Google DNS, plus any custom server you add.
Bufferbloat detection runs a latency test under sustained load to reveal routers whose buffer memory is adding lag while you download.

TWO NETWORK SCORES
Wi-Fi health score (0-100) weights signal strength (40%), channel congestion (25%), link speed and latency (20%) and security (15%). The weighting is published so you can disagree with it.
Gaming grade (S, A, B or C) rates your connection for competitive play based on ping, jitter stability and packet loss.

WI-FI SECURITY AUDIT AND ROGUE AP DETECTION
Protocol audit flags unencrypted open networks, WEP and WPA-TIP as critical, and marks WPA3-SAE and OWE as secure.
Evil twin heuristics detect suspicious access points broadcasting an identical SSID to a legitimate network.
Local network diagnostics test your default gateway responsiveness and DNS resolver query latency.
LAN device scanner discovers devices on your subnet via mDNS and UPnP.

A ranked list of the changes that will actually help your network: channel migration, 5 GHz band steering, narrowing 2.4 GHz from 40MHz to 20MHz, router elevation and isolating smart home IoT devices.

30-DAY OFFLINE HISTORY
Every speed test and scan snapshot is logged to a local database and pruned automatically after 30 days.
Time-series charts track RSSI and download speed trends over time on custom-drawn graphs.
Share card exports a high-resolution image of your results for Discord, Reddit or your group chat.

PRIVACY
Signal collects nothing and shares nothing.
No tracking SDKs. No analytics. No Firebase. No advertising identifiers.
Every analysis, chart, vendor lookup and security audit runs locally on your device. The only internet access happens when you explicitly start a speed test.

Android requires location permission to return Wi-Fi scan results. Signal never records or uploads your coordinates. You can decline and the rest of the app still works.

Signal is a network diagnostic tool. It is not a Wi-Fi password cracking or phishing utility.
