About this app

Haura is an autoharp synth inspired by the Omnichord.

It contains no samples inside; in fact the chord, strumplate and drum sounds of the classic OM84 model were reverse engineered and synthesized.
MIDI out has also been added, with special care given to latency and MIDI device management.

The project is constantly evolving, with the goal of creating a mini workstation for composing and recording music.

- 108 chords with hold function
- 2 sonic string voices on a 13 note strumplate
- 10 drum patterns
- Automatic bass synced with drum patterns, or manual bass playing the root note of the chord
- VU-meter that also functions as the mute button
- Every sound 100% generated in real-time via a proprietary sound synthesis engine
- A mixer that allows blending volumes and panning for every instrument
- A digital reverb fed by the FX send of each mixer channel
- An audio driver that ensures the lowest possible latency (hardware permitting)
- MIDI out, both via USB connection and through Bluetooth
- 100% human made. Not AI slop

- Sound editor: UI exposure of all parameters to create your own custom sounds for all available instruments
- Rhythm Pattern Editor: to create your own custom patterns and combine them to create full rhythmic backing tracks
