RainTrack combines daily weather tracking with a secure private vault in one app. Check weather conditions and forecasts, then protect your personal content with strong, on-device encryption.

Your vault data is protected using:

AES-256 encryption for stored files
PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 key derivation from your PIN
100,000 PBKDF2 iterations with a random salt
Random IV per encryption operation (AES/CBC/PKCS7Padding)
PIN hash verification using SHA-256
This means your photos, videos, notes, and files are encrypted before being saved in app storage, and only decrypted when unlocked with the correct PIN (or biometric flow where enabled).
