About this app

Reposta compares the official prices of fuel stations near you or along your route and tells you whether the saving is worth the detour. In Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, Mexico and Chile. And if you travel by motorhome, it also finds where to empty your tanks, get water and stay overnight.

OFFICIAL PRICES
The prices each station reports to the public authority of its country, updated several times a day, with the time of the latest data on every station page.

NEAR YOU OR ON YOUR TRIP
• Nearby: the stations around you, by radius, with their price and saving. Near a border you see both countries.
• On route: enter where you set off and where you are going (with stops if you like) and Reposta works out the trip corridor and the real detour to each station, even across several countries.

NET SAVING, NOT JUST PRICE
Tell it how much you usually fill up and your car’s consumption: Reposta compares each station with the local average and subtracts the cost of driving there and back. What is left is what you really save. If you cross into a country with another currency, it compares using the official European Central Bank exchange rate.

TRIP PLAN
With your tank size and current level, it tells you whether you make it without filling up and, if not, where to stop to make the trip cheaper.

MOTORHOME MODE
Turn it on in Settings and Search gets four tabs: Fuel, Empty tanks, Water and Overnight. Pick one and you see only that, in the list and on the map, near you or on your route: grey water and chemical toilet disposal points, water taps, motorhome aires, parking and campsites.
Places come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence) and from community suggestions that we review by hand before publishing them. Is a place missing? Mark it on the map and we add it once reviewed. Check the conditions on site before you go.

EVERYTHING ELSE
• Diesel, 95 and 98 petrol, premium fuels and LPG, named as in each country.
• Filters by maximum price, brand (only those in your area) and open now.
• Price history for every station and trends for every country.
• Favourites and your vehicles saved on your phone.
• In English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Croatian, Slovenian and German.
• “Go” opens the route in your maps app.
• You don’t need an account to check prices. Location is optional: you can also type a place.
