I'm unable to find my BKool Smart Pro with the app. Can connect with the Simulator app but no option to update firmware through it and my computer is too low spec to run the Windows version. Would like to be able to update Firmware to be able to connect to other apps and enjoy a better experience.

Hello Niki, Thank you for your review. I am afraid BKOOL Pro 1 trainers with firmware 3.1 or older cannot be updated to ANT+ FE-C. If you cannot find your Smart trainer with the app, it would indicate that the firmware is older than 3.1, sorry about this. BKOOL Team

I've downloaded this application to check my BKool smart pro firmware but the app does not detect anything even with an Ant+ extension right next to the unit. Not able to update the firmware either and BKool support is non responsive/existing. No indication on the website on how to upgrade the unit either... poor very poor

Does not update the PRO to v3.25, leaving it on 3.16 and useless for Zwift or any other cycling apps. No good contacting support - noone answers. Should be a pretty easy fix, yes? Please post details on how to do this. EDIT: Bkool support got in touch next day and provided a firmware flash update file that worked first time. My trainer is now working as before. It should really be on Bkool website support pages though! Would have saved me hrs of trial and error.
