About this app

Access Granted was developed in tandem with the Beyond the Visual and EcoTarium Explorer apps. All the apps listed above aim to increase accessibility for people with visual impairments. Access Granted was created to centralize and unify access to these apps. Users will be given the option to use the app in low vision mode, which will make each feature including voice control, page navigation, and changing the settings more accessible for those with visual impairments. On the home screen, Access Granted will showcase accessibility apps available in Worcester as well as the users’ distance to each establishment. It can direct the user to an app or the locations where the app is used. This application was developed by Worcester Polytechnic Institute alongside the EcoTarium.
