The Blast Golf Swing & Stroke Analyzer knows when to dynamically power-up for capturing metrics in real-time. This whole system is broken. Bought the device and loaded the program. Tried to use it and it didn't work. Submitted a help desk ticket to try and resolve the issue and I was told they haven't figured out Android software interface. Signed up for the premium access, one month trial, and that is ending and they want to charge for "premium access", that does not work... Can't believe they got Brad Faxon to endorse this junk...

The iOS platform is clearly superior at this point. I bought this after using my buddies on the course (he has iPhone). Knew there would be some differences but his interface is different and I'm pretty sure he gets more data on his irons than I do. Still useful but the Android platform still leaves a lot to be desired.

sept 2021. most of the reviews on here seem to have come before the major updates blast did. i got my unit about a month ago, and it came installed with putting and basic club data. so you could use irons and woods and get basic stats on each swing. then today, i got a huge update that adds the short game and bunker aspect that many reviewers complained the app was missing. that is a plus. i have used the sensor for about 3000 putts so far and it's amazing. it connects to my phone easily.
