The SMARTSTEP by Blatchford App is a unified app aimed at streamlining and simplifying the setup and configuration of Blatchford Microprocessor products.

Clinician features:
Allows the clinician to program and fine-tune parameters bespoke to the wearer.
Provides intuitive tools to help clinicians support their patients allowing more time to be spent on patient care and improving clinical outcomes
Clinicians are required to sign up for a SMARTSTEP Account and are required to complete a Blatchford approved training course before being authorised to program Blatchford devices

The SMARTSTEP App is compatible with Tectus Class 1 Medical Device hardware (Version 1.1 and above), registered at FDA and MHRA meaning it can only be purchased in the USA, UK and Europe. The medical device functionality within the SMARTSTEP App will only function when connected to the Tectus Medical Device hardware.

The SMARTSTEP App is a medical device accessory to:

'Tectus' as a component of a lower limb orthosis,
conforms to all applicable regulatory requirements for medical devices in the UK, European Union and North America and all other countries that recognise the regulatory requirements in these regions.
