Works well enough for me, I haven't had the connection issues other people have shared. I like being able to set an early warning for when I am approaching the target temperature. The most annoying thing is that I haven't found a way to dismiss the alarm one the temperature is reached, it just keeps going off every time I acknowledge it. It gets super annoying because I want to focus on finishing cooking but I have to listen to the stupid alarm. Please let us dismiss the alarm while cooking.

Most people who write had reviews are technology challenged. This thermometer works perfectly, but the app does leave something to be desired. Temp seems accurate, and responsive. But it alarms at set temp. If you want to change that temp it becomes a huge struggle because every time you acknowledge the temp-reached alarm, it immediately pops back up. I have to power off the probe base, then change the temp, then power it on again. So lame. And can't set cool down alarms. Ugh!

The probe, phone, and station don't remain connected, it keeps removing connection, and alerts the phone every 3-5 seconds as it cycles through being connected and not being connected. when not in use the battery drains so that it needs to be charged for a long time before use. The person responsible for this app has deleted every negative review, but they still show up on the main screen showing 1.8 out of 5. This product works poorly, and I do not recommend this to even an amateur cook.
