About this app
Blinder Chat is a private messaging app with end-to-end encryption. Your messages are encrypted on your phone and can only be decrypted on the recipient's phone: not even our servers can read them. And whatever you delete leaves no trace on the server.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTION
• Messages, photos, videos and voice notes encrypted on your own device.
• Every photo, video and voice note is encrypted with its own key.
• Groups too: every message is encrypted separately for each member.
• The connection to our servers is encrypted as well (HTTPS).
NO PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL
• Sign up with just a username and a password.
• We don't ask for your phone number, your email or access to your contacts.
• Recovery words to get your account back if you forget your password.
CHATS AND GROUPS
• One-to-one chats and groups.
• Send voice notes, photos and videos.
• Blue double tick when your messages are read.
• Mute notifications for any group.
• Give your contacts a nickname without losing their original name.
DELETE WITHOUT A TRACE
• Nothing is left on our server: deleting removes the messages, photos, videos, voice notes and notifications.
• Delete a message for everyone: it disappears from your phone, the other person's phone and the server.
• Delete a whole chat and no trace is left on the server or the devices.
• Self-destructing messages: choose how long your messages last.
• Delete your account from inside the app at any time.
SECURITY
• Security PIN to open the app.
• Panic PIN: a second PIN that instantly erases your account and messages.
• Report and block inappropriate users and chats.
Available in Spanish, English, French, German and Italian.

What’s new
The keyboard now stays open after you send a message so you can keep typing, and the keyboard's Send key sends too. The top bar stays in place while scrolling in Chats, Contacts and other screens.
