Press it, and Blind Fate books your date. It picks the person, picks the place, and books the table, for that same day. A few lines about you, and that is your profile. No photos. No swiping. No six weeks of messaging that goes nowhere.
You find out who they are when you sit down.
THREE WAYS TO USE IT
Fate: you and one stranger. A table for two.
Double Fate: you and your mate against two strangers. A table for four. Because the hard part was never wanting to go, it was not wanting to go on your own.
Fate Mates: you and five other people who also pressed the button. A table for six. Nobody has to be the brave one.
HOW A DAY WORKS
Press Fate. Choose whether you fancy a cafe, a pub, food, or anywhere. The app finds your match, picks the venue and books the table. You get up to thirty minutes to say yes. Then you turn up.
That is it. No endless scrolling, and nothing to maintain.
WHY THERE ARE NO PHOTOS
Every other app makes money by keeping you on it, which means they work best when you almost meet someone, forever. Blind Fate only works when you leave the house. So there is no endless feed, and no photograph of you anywhere on it. Nobody can search for you by name, which for a city the size of Exeter matters more than it sounds.
You do have a profile. It is your first name, what you study and a few lines in your own words. That is what the other person sees before they meet you. Your age is never shown to anyone: the ID check confirms you are over 18 and gives us your year of birth, which is used only to keep age gaps sensible.
SAFETY
Every date is at a public venue. Share your date with a friend, check in afterwards, and block or report anyone at any time. The app is 18+.
