PERMISSIONS
Cell ID Tracker requires location and phone-state permissions to access cellular network information provided by Android.
On modern Android versions, location permission is required by the Android operating system before apps can read cellular network and Cell ID information.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The cellular information displayed by this app depends on:
- Your Android device
- Android version
- Mobile network operator
- SIM configuration
- Network availability
- Device manufacturer restrictions
- Permissions granted to the app
Some devices or network operators may hide or limit certain Cell ID, 5G, signal or neighbouring-cell information.
Cell ID Tracker does not control the mobile network and cannot guarantee that every nearby tower will be displayed. Telecom circle and location information may be approximate and should not be treated as an exact physical tower location.
Cell ID Tracker is useful for network testing, field observations, troubleshooting, technical learning and monitoring cellular network changes while travelling.
